Our Causes
Kula’s main focus is education, and we have supported a number of worthy causes and organizations since our inception in January 2022.
Bangkok Post Foundation
Run by group of dedicated former Bangkok Post editorial staff and management, the Bangkok Post Foundation provides educational scholarships for underprivileged children. What sets them apart is once you become a Bangkok Post Foundation scholarship student, they will sponsor you until you graduate. Kula proudly donated 900,000 THB to the foundation from their AN2R Charity Concert in 2023.
Christian Care Foundation for Children with Disabilities
CCD’s aim is to help develop disabled children to their highest potential through a holistic approach, and to ensure that disabled children have equal rights, opportunities and a good quality of life in Thailand. Kula sponsored 20 children from CCD to enjoy the “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert (2023) for free.
Community Children Foundation
For five decades, CCF has been helping disadvantaged children across Thailand have access to education. Currently CCF has over 40,000 children under their care. Kula has helped over 300 CCF students go to school through our “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert, and will be supporting them again in January 2025 with our event VOICES FOR CHANGE.
House of Blessing Foundation
The House of Blessing helps incarcerated, former incarcerated people and their children. Kula donated 40,000 THB, raised from our Kinnari Music Festival in June 2023 to purchase new school uniforms for the 60 children under their care.
House of Stray Friends
Based in Suphanburi, the House of Stray Friends takes care of over 100 stray dogs, cats, rabbits and even cows. Through our Kinnari Music Festival, we donated over 60,000 THB to the House of Stray Friends, which supported a month’s worth of food and medical supplies for these furry friends.
Immanuel Orchestra
The Immanuel Orchestra comprises of young student musicians from the Klong Toey slum community. Recognizing their amazing talent and determination, Kula recently funded their performances at Central World and provided opportunities for them to experience concerts as well. We are thrilled that the Immanuel Orchestra will be joining Kula’s VOICES FOR CHANGE in January 2025 as well!
Mahidol University’s Music Therapy Program
There’s nothing quite like the power of healing through music. Through our CELLOBRATION concert in January 2024, Kula raised over 140,000 THB in support of Mahidol University’s Music Therapy Program for hospitals, senior homes and orphanages, provided by their College of Music.
Mercy Centre
For over 50 years, the Mercy Centre has provided a safe haven for at-risk children in Bangkok’s Klongtoey slum community. In June 2023, 60 Mercy children performed Thai classical dance and music at our “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert, marking their debut on a professional stage, and helping raise over 160,000 THB for their Human Development foundation.
Muban Subkanda Senior Community Group
In June 2023, Kuka supported a hundred senior members of the Muban Sukanda Senior Community Group from Pathumthani Province to enjoy our “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert for free. The outing included transportation, lunch, snacks, and two hours of entertainment featuring over 140 performers!
School for the Blind in Lopburi Province
Twenty students from the School of the Blind in Lopburi province had a chance to witness their former classmate Somsak Chaima perform at Kula’s “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert in 2023. The trip proved to be an exciting and memorable excursion for everyone!
